NSGA is no more
NSGA is no more
Just an update.
NSGA is officially wound up.
Luckily, there are many other game groups filling up the void.
I have had fun times in the past, especially in our heydey of weekly Sunday meetings with attendances comparable to EGF and Dockers on good days. We held annual wargame tounaments. We played boardgames and minature wargames.

The Fawlkner location in the community centre is still available for gaming but has to be organised individually. All the club assets including quite a few boardgames tables, and minature scenery were auctioned off earlier this year.
I sort of missed it but 10 years ago, most of us had much more time on our hands and could attend every Sunday from noon till 6 pm. We could even have grand campaign games like full games of Empire in Arms.
Now, EGF and Dockers fills my gaming void.

The EiA game is on hold...we seem to have problems getting people together.christianmoura wrote:What happened to the EiA game?
We are now into early 1800 (Jan or Feb).
VP total so far
France 203 (needs 290 -70% achieved)
Prussia 199 (needs 265 -75% achieved)
Russia 224 (needs 290 -77% achieved)
Great Britain 217 (needs 300 -72% achieved)
Spain 218 (needs 270 -81% achieved)
Turkey 200 (needs 260 -77% achieved)
Austria 173 (needs 275 -63% achieved)
France's early huge lead has been pegged back by the coalition of Austria, GB, Spain and Turkey. Spain has gained dominance while France has lost it. Russia siting on the sidelines for so long finally flexed it self and invaded...Turkey ! The turkish forces while losing most battles were able to push back the Russian forces back to the borders after winning a decisive battle where the Russian forces were nearly completely wiped out, losing all their infantry and only one cav corp and their best leader escaping. Their lines of supply were also constantly under threat of being cut.
