EGF Sunday 23rd?
Carlos suggested that the next EGF be held on Aurgust 23rd - since we can't have it on the 19th.
A few people present yesterday welcomed the idea. Dave - is this OK? Do we need to talk to the Bridge club to ask if we can come?

Re: EGF Sunday 23rd?
As dave explained it to me, we are able to have the bridge club every week if we want, albeit that the cyclon decendency was preprogrammed from a galaxy far far away in another eon for August 16th. That being said, it's our call, and what we are looking for is a strong indication of support if we are to convene on the 23rd. It actually works well, given that there are 5 sundays in August, meaning it would be a fortnight before the following EGF on September 6th.
So add me, Melissa said yes, so that makes two.
Others should add their names as strong indications of their support for a special convening on August 23rd.

Hey all- I am very likely a "yes" vote, so is Campbell. Erin is 50/50. I think we average out to another 2 attendees

yes from me too.
Re: EGF Sunday 23rd?
I would definitely be there as well.
Re: EGF Sunday 23rd?
There's a good chance I'll be there. Anna is probably 20% going at this point. Although she might get the desire to play Stone Age again, which will increase that percentage dramatically.
Re: EGF Sunday 23rd?
Sunday 23rd is a Goer(Goa?-but that hasn't been played for a while) have got confirmation from Dave who promised to provide biscuits this time. Also as he told me he had been to Mill Sims to get new games for the EGFlibrary, I suggest people contact him if they want to sell games, since they're going to the EGF library might as well get 2nd hand ones that way we get more games for the $$$$.

Damned fine suggestion, even if I say so myself. It's the sort of thing that can be difficult to transport and having on site would be extremely advantageous.christianmoura wrote:PERSPEX
I will research as I think I have a source and will put a proposal up.

Yes the 23rd is a go ahead this month, let's keep it at 1st and 3rd thereafter, just for the moment. Perspex????Hmmmm, I have a piece not sure to provide yet, still thimking about it, it cost me $60, anyway carlos says he has a piece, need to inspect first for quality. Let you know, when I know. Hopefully Sol is opening on the 23rd is that correct?

Perspex sheets at Bunnings are approx $50 for 1200 x 900mm (that's 3mm thick IIRC). I know someone who can get staff discount, so probably ~$45 per sheet.

Agreed. This month was a special exception given the cylon infestation of grey matter descending through bridge players.intheclear wrote:let's keep it at 1st and 3rd thereafter
That's my intention.intheclear wrote:Hopefully Sol is opening on the 23rd is that correct?
By hook or by crook, Vikings will get an outing this time. I took the time to separate and bag the progress stuff so it will be easy to run with. It just confused the crap out of me, which is not difficult, when I saw the progress stuff which as foreign to me at the time. Thank's for the guidance Rob.

How was it? I was a bit under the weather so decided to give it a miss this time around.
