EGF Sun July 5th

Post by MooseHead » Mon Jun 22, 2009 11:51 am

Whilst Americans will be continuing their celebrations into the late hours, Independence Day reassures us that there is a distinct lack of need for Ameritrash.

The best way to show your support for our cause is to come and kick off the post independence celebrations with more Euro Games.

Use this thread to post your intentions or misaligned needs pertinent to our forthcoming and next session at EGF.

Games for this Sunday

Post by MooseHead » Wed Jul 01, 2009 8:54 pm

Melissa has threatened to break out the following:
- Vikings
- Kingsburgh
- Life Boats
- Stone Age

So any interest, you may show in the usual manner. Read the fine print.

Just no picking on Carlos. He doesnt like it.

Well, I don't think that the venue is exactly suited to your version (or even the original) of DE! I still haven't seen your outrageous misquoting of my help yet!

I know Caylus, but prefer Caylus Magna Carta. It's 80% of Caylus in 25-30% of the time.

I'll have Automobile (& now I have some stock), plus Pillars of the Earth (with expansion so up to 6 players) as requested by Rob & Erin ages ago.

Not sure what else I'll bring, but am always happy to play Lifeboats (well, actually that's a lie... I can think of lots of times I wouldn't be, but you know what I mean).

Any requests (for games you want me to bring)?

Anyone want to play something which is actually enjoyable?

Well, Erin and I would both actually enjoy Pillars of the Earth (thank you Julian!). I also hope you will bring a copy of Maharaja.

I think we are trying to get a game of Junta together again - we really need 6-7 players who can commit to a fairly long game however.

I'm good for Junta too, but I'll need to play either early or late in the day to manage Pillars of the Earth with Julian: this is actually a prior engagement (dates back to Bordercon)! Campbell hopes to be there too, but he may have to work instead. Erin is going to be there but I don't know how she feels about Junta (and at this hour I'm not asking  )

I'm up for anything. I'll be there from around noon, I think.

I was thinking of bringing Antiquity, but I doubt I'll get a chance to learn it in time. Maybe next time.

I'd like to play Junta sometime, but not this time.

I'd like to play Lifeboats. It fell sort of flat the one and only time I played it, so I'd like to give it another go. Wouldn't mind Vikings, or Kingsburg-- haven't played either of them. And I'm always happy to play Ameritrash -- LNOE looked interesting?

Does anyone have Indonesia?

I believe Stompy is the only one who does... or was it Doug Partridge's copy?
