Post by MooseHead » Tue Apr 28, 2009 10:14 pm

Coming to a Kew Bridge club near you from 11 a.m. this Sunday. It's on again.

Any interest in:
- Stone Age
- Saint PetersBurg
- Kingsburg (maybe)
- Bohnannza
- Dominion
- Carcassonne
- Ticket to Ride.

I'll alter this list shortly to align with what we are suggesting we might bring.

St Petersburg is a good quick game, I'd definately play a game or two. Ditto with stone age. The others I haven't played but I can usually be emboldened to learn.

I'd like to try Through the Ages, if I get the chance to re-read the rules.

And maybe Outpost, and Swashbuckler.

Hey gregor, do you know if Julian will be at EuroGamesFest this Sun?

Kind of need to make myself known to him.

Cheers.

I was intending to be there, for at least some of the time. Why? Who are you? Why do I need to know you?

Ben,

Are you coming this Sunday? Can you bring your ASL rulebook if you are? I've got part of my ASL stuff with me, but not the rulebook yet - and I'd like to borrow it to play a game with Alpha.

Games for Sunday

Post by alex_m » Thu Apr 30, 2009 5:29 pm

Hey Guys,

Was hoping to come this Sunday.

Can I interest anyone in Small World or Battlestar Galactica?

I have both games but have not played either.

Alex

Battlestar Gallactica

Post by MooseHead » Thu Apr 30, 2009 9:38 pm

Beware the cylons.

There's been a good outing with Battlestar Galactica over recent times, and there always seems to be new takers, so you should be fine.

Just be warned, if someone laughs, it doesnt make them a cylon.

We hope to be in force (Rob, Erin, Campbell, Mark, Anna +).

Does anyone have a copy of Lowenherz? If someone is able to bring a copy it would be fabulous- I'd really like to study the cards.
(I have a copy of Domaine, and I want to see if it is possible to replicate Lowenherz with duplicate cards).

Otherwise-
Stone Age
Saint Petersburg
Kingsburg
Dominion

are all good for us.
Also bringing Chicago Express, Elfenland and PowerGrid.

Only a cylon would say that!

That was precisely the attitude which caused the downfall of the empire, discounting the friendly smile and laughter, whilst confusing it for maniacal cackle.

We are hoping to run a game of Dune - with all the correct rules we stumbled across while playing on Thursday. I will bring my rulebook too - should I bring my combat wheels too or is that too confusing?

You might as well bring your copy. Four combat wheels to pass around is better than passing around 2. :)
