Is this one going as planned?

I am planning on inviting some of the boardgamers from where I work, see if I can get a group of us to come down and spread the boardgame hobby.

That ok?

there are a number of staff that are keen players. The difficult bit is committed.
I will start letting them know about it and see how I go.

You looking forward to having some new blood to beat to a pulp, or should I say meeple to death.

Did I lend my ticket to ride to someone last EGF? I seem to remember leaving early, people were playing it, so I left it with someone, but I don't remember who.

It looks like I may have spoken too soon about getting some more people there...

Oh well I am coming :shock:

Now I have a list of games I am interested in playing :evil:

I definitely want to try if possible in order:
Race to the Galaxy
Thurn and Taxis
Agricola
Reef Encounter
Tichu
El Grande
Goa
Yinsh
Tikal
Torres

There is no way I am going to make it through all those as I will need to leave late afternoon but the top 3 would be awesome.

Maybe I should turn that into my wishlist!
Or maybe I should turn up to Dockers or Billabong more... :oops:

ummm...
It may be a bit presumptious of me but...

those are all games I dont have and would like someone to bring if possible.

After reading some reviews Agricola is probably the game that I haven't played yet and am most interested in trying.

I am waiting on a copy of Race to the Galaxy to be delivered so that is not essential but apparently it can be quick anyway.

I am not sure if this is correct etiquette.

Are there any games that I should bring myself?

Of the games I have I would be interested in playing Attika.

I think there's only two copies in Melbourne at the moment, and since Melissa probably won't be coming this month and I am not allowed to pack it away (because it won't actually fit in the box if anyone other than Melissa does it) I'm guessing that her copy won't be coming :lol:

Agricola is available for purchase at Games Paradise.

I have no idea but it sounds like a big game with lots of parts...

From Games Paradise

Game Contents:

* 360 Cards
* Over 300 Wooden Components
* 50+ Tiles
* 9 Boards
* Tokens
* Scoring Pad

8)

Now I really want to play it :lol:

When packed (and it comes in the same size box as Goa) there is no air and it weighs 2.2 kg !

No -- not presumptuous at all. I was just asking cause I can bring some of them for you to try.

I'll bring:
Thurn and Taxis (with exp)
Reef Encounter
Goa
Yinsh

All games I'm happy to play. I'll be there probably around 1230, and I usually stay till about 6.
