Eurogames Fest still on this week?

Gregor, we have a game planned? I seem to remember we do but I can't remember what game.

Anyone have Attribut? Really want to try that game.

We could probably arrange for it to go to Albury...

Yeah, you wanted me to bring the suitcase game (Hart an der Grenz) -- which I'll happily do, since I haven't played it yet -- you can teach me!

My tentative interest list for next EGF:

1) Europe Engulfed

My suggestion is to have a go at the 1942 scenario. Three players = Axis, Soviets and UK/USA.

I wouldn't mind playing the UK/USA side - it is the most fiddly rules-wise (naval transport and supply), and is the side that sees the least action.

I've played this scenario with 3 players 4 or 5 times - I find it works really well, and can be played in half a day. I've even played this 4 player - the extra person taking care of Italy and the Germans on the west front, as well as controlling the total Axis production.

2) Shifting Sands (if someone is willing to teach this to me)

3) Paths of Glory, if I have no takers for the above games. It's been a couple of years since I last played, but I am happy to dust-off my copy for another game.

1. EE: Still reading the rules for this one.

2. SS: Played once, turned out we played a whole bunch of rules wrong!

3. PoG: Played once, would love another go.

Anyone wanna try some of the ASL SK3 scenarios, with tanks? :)

EE = if you are interested in playing, well, there is a whole week to read the rules - I'm happy to help out too. The 1942 scenario is easier to play, as a lot of the early war rules exceptions don't apply.

My suggestions are Angola (ragnar brothers) or Italia (Phalanx) The first need 4 people and the second 3 or 4. I can only stay till about 6 on Sat as I have a dinner birthday party that night. Will anyone be coming early?

I am happy to play EE or SS as well or even Pacific Victory (a block game)

Hi guys, i'm a newbie (with some newbie questions) in Surrey Hills.

Are you still in Kew this week, or are you actually heading up to Albury? Mind if a newbie (with few/no games) just turns up? I'm interested in just dropping past and getting a feel for a few games, if that's ok with everyone.

Cheers!

Kew is this weekend and Albury is the one after, so no clash!
