urbangamer and NerdSpace present…

*** International Tabletop Day 2015 ***
*** 10am to 4pm, Saturday 11 April ***

Join with us and board gamers the world over as we celebrate all that is great about tabletop gaming!

Whether you are young (there will be kids games!) or old, a casual gamer or hardcore nut there will be a game for you! If you simply want to relive the Cluedo games of your youth, beat an old foe at Monopoly (if you can finish a game), tackle a game you’ve never played before, see why everyone is talking about ‘Settlers’ and ‘Ticket’ or play something that will tax those little grey cells, then have we got a day just for you! Bring your own game/s to share or borrow from our games tables supplied by other attendees.

And for all of the NerdSpace regulars out there. There will be MtG, along with many other faves such as Fluxx, We Didn't play test this at all, Timeline, Star Wars X-Wing & much more.

The cafe will be open from 11-3pm for hot and cold drinks, sweet treats and light lunches, however feel free to bring your own food. There’s no obligation to buy from the cafe.

Would you like to learn how to become the next “King of Tokyo” or indeed “King of New York”? Do you want to find out how working together to escape a “Forbidden Desert” can be exciting? Like the idea of being an explorer, train baron, zombie fighter or racing driver? Let us know in the comments below if there is a game you’d like to learn and dependant on interest we’ll investigate having some scheduled or impromptu game teaching sesssions. Some suggestions for easy to learn games would be… Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, King of Tokyo/New York, Alhambra, Carcassonne, Forbidden Desert/Island, Relic Runners…. to name a few!

Where: urbanlife cafe, 143 Maroondah Highway Ringwood (across the road from Ringwood Train Station)
When: 10am- 4pm, 11 April 2015
Cost: None
Food: Cafe will be open or BYO food.
Parking: Is difficult due to the Eastland construction. Options include: Small car park across from Westpac on Ringwood St. Car park across railway line on Wantirna Rd right hand side. There is also railway parking and Eastland. All of it is time limited frustratingly.
