Session report 29/8/11

Post by westgarthworldwide » Tue Aug 30, 2011 8:51 pm

3 titans of the boardgame scene gathered for a massive game of Imperial. Gerald the Gallic heavyweight, Carlos 'Hapsburg' Ramsay and bovva-boy Ben - master of the 'hurry-up' and the 'you can't take that back now.'

Victory went to Gerald (very impressive for someone who had never played before), largely courtesy of German and Great British interests. Second place went to Ben with a bit of everything and Carlos took third place.

Catering for the evening was muffins (reduced at Coles), potato chips and narn bread.

The Hapsburgs were trounced and left with a mere shadow of their former Empire.

Not unlike what happened in real life.... Where are they all now, the Canary Islands?
