Bordercon

Post by Gavin » Fri Jan 23, 2015 10:43 pm

Hey guys,
I just booked my ticket to Bordercon. Is anyone else going and wants to split a room? Or has a bed available in a room they are renting? Let me know.

I just grabbed my ticket as well, I'd be interested in sharing a room.

Just emailed the place. These are the rooms they have and prices.
We currently have availability for the following room types

Deluxe Queen Room $144.00 per night (1 Queen bed, Maximum 2 Adults)

Executive King Room $159.00 per night (1 King bed, Maximum 2 Adults)

Two Bedroom Apartment $246.00 per night (2 Queen Beds, Maximum 4 Adults)
Do people tend to split rooms with a single bed and someone sleeps on a couch/floor?

The previous place we stayed for Bordercon (next door) probably had different room set-ups. I've stayed in rooms with 2 singles, and I've stayed in rooms with 2 singles and 1 double.
As a result sharing beds wasn't an issue - in the sense that we didn't need to share, rather than that we were happy to share beds (each to their own :D ) - it was more the snoring that was the issue
I think Dan or Trev have already booked some rooms (which i think I'm included on) so we can ask them tomorrow night if they know any different.
Most hotels usually cater for 'twin beds' in some way so i'd be a bit suprised if they don't here....unless they are already booked.

Just letting people know I currently have on spare bed in my room. There is also the possibility of adding a 3rd bed (but the extra beds are limited and may be gone when/if i need to enquire about it)

Just pointing out I still have a free bed in my room if you're interested, or know anyone that might be.
