Well I have discovered I cheated and have nothing but failure for last week's game of this. It turns out the DI card I played to teleport to an Obelisk must be used as part of a movement action. Guess it makes sense ;)

So I award a joint victory to Adrian & Paul. Well done guys.

I relegate myself to last place even behind that awful guy Ian from Sydney

No it wouldnt be me - i didnt have enough VP (or whatever its called in Kemet) to win. Stompy didnt build an army for me to stomp so i was 1 VP short.

I believe Anton had a plan that may have put him over the line also.

I thought it was a great game though, and look forward to the next (when ever that may, if you haven't sold your copy Dan!)

Also clarified that city walls can be passed if you have multiple move actions in one turn (ie. via silver or gold token). English rulebook is poorly worded and indicates you cannot do this - but dev confirmed on BGG you can do it. I think this screwed Anton.

Additionally silver & gold token must be placed on the action at the same time as the first token - you cannot wait for the outcome of the first one.

Yeah and the game is safe from the sell pile for a few more hours ;)
