Glory to Rome, of course.

Kerrin-- I'd like to play shipyards and le havre; have been meaning to play both of them.

I've looked for Oltre Mare, but can't find it. Will look again.
Will bring pack and stack, cause it's fun.
I would love to be in a game of brass. So many games so little time.

Rob,

Not sure how I missed ItYotD when browsing your collection. This is definitely also on my to play list.

I have the full size Pitchcar (base set, extension 1 - the jump, extension 2 - 45 degree corners, and extension 5 - the cross). Are the tables there suitable for the larger version? Or would be best to stick to mini?

Cheers,
Rahn

Endeavour - call that one a certainty. I'll have it available and there will be plenty of potential players.
Neuland - um. Let's see. Those rules give me a headache.
Steam - Very possible. Once again, many people will play.
Macao - Very likely. I'll have it there, and again lots of people play it.
Notre Dame - Excellent. Should be easy to get a game.
In the Year of the Dragon - You didn't mention this, but it "goes with" Notre Dame and Macao. I'll bring it, but may not have time to teach it.
Elk Fest - Absolutely! Pitch Car Mini is a good idea- I'll bring it. There may a Crokinole set available too. Also Sorry Sliders. And Flickochet...
Glory to Rome - Very likely. Gregor, are you reading this? Another one to be converted 8)
Metropolys - Very likely. It's simple to teach and plays fast.
Union Pacific - Also a good pick. If Campbell comes he is up for this.
+
Combat Commander - with any luck Lee will be smacking me around. My copy is unpunched, so I hope someone has a copy ready to play.

I would be interested in seeing Blue Max hit the table sometime, probably at EGF. Playing this with six players was one of the highlights of my old wargaming club. Would also like to try Manoeuvre sometime.

But the game I'd really like to play at Convic would be Galaxy Trucker.

Unfortunately, no. I had a light bulb moment about our mortality and the fragility of life.

Which is all the more reason I want to play lots more games now! Too bad I have to work to pay bills. Surely someone out there is being payed to play games... like those video game testers, but with board games. (And no, I don't mean doing reviews of games on YouTube like Tom Vassel.)

If I was going to ConVic, I'd want to play Indonesia again and Antiquity, and probably Reef Encounter and El Grande. But alas, I'm not. I shouldn't even be contributing to this thread.

Ah but then you wouldnt know what you were missing. The question is, will you read what happened at convic? Assuming people will write about the day.

Not entirely true... I could just read the thread and be quiet in my little corner over here...

Yes, I will read all about the fun people will no doubt be having this weekend, and lament that I missed out. Maybe lament is a bit strong, but you know what I mean.

Hi all,

As Rob mentioned, we expect to be at ConVic on Friday and Saturday.

I'd love to learn Oltre Mare if there's a seat free.

Gregor - I'd be keen to learn Bus if you have time to teach it.
Philip - I'd like to try Galaxy Trucker, but again, would need to be taught.

I'm also keen to play Macao, In the Year of the Dragon, Glory to Rome, Cyclades, Union Pacific, Funny Friends and Shipyard.

See you there :)

Erin

Large number of tables, always a few spare to set up full size Pitchcar.
Three into the Castilla. Go! Go!
