Does anyone know what happened in the game last night between Jeff and Chee?

Oh yeah sorry, I meant Jeff vs Imants. Those guys were still going strong when we were heading off at midnight!

We finished in about 10 mins. The conclusion was inevitable.

The Germans had technical superiority, but they lacked the willpower to fight against the Russians who knew the land like the back of their hands. Many brave men died for the motherland that day, but they did not die in vain. The germans soon realised the futility of the mission and ran like cowards!

(I won on the second SD roll with around 26 VP. I bid 0 for Ruskies and Imants bid 4 for Krauts)

I played another game against Christian on Friday. I think it was scenario 5.
Siberian troops sweep in on entrenched german positions during winter.

He had a massive stack in a trench with LMG, HMG and a 2 leader. He just mowed down a squad of my guard SMG and a 2 leader trying to cross the river but he obviously wasn't watching. I advanced a veteran squad on his position and obliterad him with 2 ambush cards.

That card is broken! hehehe

Mines and retreating

I just saw in the player guide http://files.boardgamegeek.com/viewfile ... leid=23914 that mines attack routed players.

I think this issue came up with the Chee vs Ben game?

Hi,

Jonathan here. I have met some of you.

Chee introduced me to this game and I liked it so much I bought a copy. Would anyone be interested in playing? I am in Clifton Hill and would prefer not to go too far away from there. Otherwise pretty flexible. I can't easily get to Dockers though - weekends are better for me.

I've only played one game but I have played a fair bit of ASL so I picked up the rules pretty quickly.

Please e-mail me if interested.

Hi Jonathan,

We have been playing every Thusday at 'Gamers at Dockers' group.
Just tonight we had two games going (as part of the tournament).

I'll be up for a game of CC:E at AGS next week if you can make it Jonathan.

Also, does anyone have the victory details for this Round 3 game; Surrender or SD?

AGS

Post by Clifton Pig » Thu May 31, 2007 11:48 pm

Thanks for the challenge Ben, but by now I hope you have realised that AGS was last week. It meets the last Friday of each month, whereas this Friday is of course the Glorious First of June.

Maybe some other time? My sister is visiting this weekend so it will be hard for me.

Yeah I had a debate with someone over whether AGS was the first or last friday of the month; Turned out I was wrong! A shame because I really wanted to go.

Hey how did you find the ASL Starter Kit? I love it! It's great to be able to strip away all of the chrome of full ASL to just play the grassroots system every now and then.
