An Excellent Event!!

hey guys.

If you didn't go to Albury you really missed out. We had a ball. The Settlers tournament was fantastic fun, so tense, so much shafting.

Scores for my games were 9,8,4,9. You can attribute that 4 score to Doug Adam's wife who gave me a severe hosing, certainly the best play I saw all weekend, I'm still getting over it. haha

Shaun Low made it into the Carcassonne final but lucked out when his opponents managed to finish a huge city and claim his farm. My mates Anna and Zoltan made it to the Semi-finals but knocked each other out in the same game!

I also managed to play Union Pacific, Streetsoccer, Friedrich and Taj Mahal. We will all be back next year, it wasn't the typical geekfest we were expecting. Much different to Cancon :S

Hey Ben, what did you think of Streetsoccer? I think it's a neat little game.

Mind Games had a copy at the Expo Doug so I picked it up after playing Saturday night. I like it, very light but enough hidden depth to make me want to keep playing.
