Nice one Frank for arsing your way to a (sorta)victory in Twilight Imperium 3. I can't remember if we decided to hand that one to you or not haha

Now that you've played a full game of it they might want you to do a few playtest games every week :lol:

I wouldn't say it was an arsing to victory. It was a well deserved win, with some nice alliances helping secure victory :)

Yeah at one point he had that Die Macher look on his face. It's the look which says "this game sux, I'm hosed".

But maybe that's one of his gaming tricks. Enabling him to slip into obscurity while he builds up for that one last punch at the end!

See Tom V's article about "nice guys never win games."

The only way I could have really been stopped was if you stripped me of all my plannets that turn - not freakin likely.

I still want to check that 'lose a plannet card' in an FAQ - seems a bit to strong and I got hit by it 3 times!!! And I was supposed to be the 'action card race! Next time I'm definatly putting 2 ground troops on every plannet now that I know about that card.

Yeah I vaguely recall reading that article many moons ago. I had a quick look through the geek, Tom has written hundreds of articles so it's not going to be as easy to find as I initially thought! :(
