CC:M

Post by jeff » Wed Nov 21, 2007 11:13 am

For those interested, I've been told that it has shipped. Now lets see how long it takes to arrive.

The weird thing is that GMT games has my order listed twice but I can only find one charge on the credit card. Maybe I'll be getting a free copy...

OK.

Any preference for which format we should use for the next CC:M comp.?
I was thinking we could play twice as many games as last time, make the comp longer, and everyone plays everyone else twice.
At least this way we can take some pressure off with less chance of single games deciding the outcome!

Sounds good. This time games will probably run faster, now that we all got a pretty good handle on the rules.

After so much wargaming over the past 12 months, playing Agricola is gonna be like watching Melrose.

I think Agricola should change the wooden blocks to little miniature army units then it will appeal to the ameritrash, wargamers and eurogamers.

Maybe with a Loopin' Louie in there somewhere....

My only suggestion is that everyone plays the same scenario twice, one side each.

No worries, sounds like a good idea; Should the same scenario be played twice against the same opponent with sides swapped, or not fussed?

How do I get me some of this action?

Is CC:M available only to those who pre-ordered it at present or is anyone selling it now?

It's available to buy from GMT games, the publisher - it hasn't arrived in any Australian stores yet, but should be here in a few weeks, I'd say.
