2 New Gamers

Hey chaps and ladies.

Myself and my housemate are keen on some gaming action. long time gamers of many genres and types board - pc - rpg etc etc.
Currently have a starwars fixation , he he so star wars minis have been the call of the day for sometime but both of us are keen to play some games and just get to know a few more gamers in melbourne and expand in that respect.

we in our 30's just a piece of fyi if it matters.

Your best bet to meet people is pop around to dockers on thursday nights.
Or one of the other game clubs.

Eurogamefest is always a good day, and you can meet gamers from the other local clubs.

If you're near the eastern suburbs, billabong meets every tuesday night. As a club, we play euros almost exclusively, but newcomers are always welcome.

Thanks for the info guys, seems like dockers is the best location for us to get to.
Will have to make the effort to get up there Thursday.

so we can just rock up ?

Yes, just rock up - it starts from 5:30pm.

Dockers seems to split into wargamers and other gamers.

They also split into groups that have something prepared to play (these games tend to be "booked out"), and casual sit down play.

If you're interested in getting in on a game, or want to suggest something yourself, scout/post in the Gamers@Dockers forum here for the appropriate week.
