Who's heading up to Albury for the expo?

I think I'm going to take the train up; it's a nice comfortable trip. Anyone else going by train?

Jon and I are planning on going up.

We need:

1) Transport if anyone's driving.
2) Accommodation if anyone wants to share?

I don't mind taking the train if other people are going up by that method.

I'm going up friday aft, coming back monday-- it makes it off peak, which should be around $50 on the train.

Have you booked the train? We tried and couldn't get on (Friday up, Monday back).

I haven't tried.

Anyone want to carpool? Erm, i don't drive though. I'll see if I can borrow a car. We might consider renting a car too? Might be cheaper than the train if we split it 4 ways,

Also, the train on Sat morning will only hit albury 11.30am or so. Those taking part in the tourneys will need to get there earlier. 8 or 9am.

I hadn't, but I was able to through vline (up Friday noonish, get to albury just before 5pm, then back monday at 1245, get to melbourne at 430). Return trip cost 56.20 (1st class on the return).

You had me worried...

There's a lot hinging on this. Anna wants to play the "Donkey Sex Game". If we drive, it goes to Albury. If we train, it don't!

Just how big is this "Donkey Sex Game"?? Could we drive it up for you, or would it displace one of our Daughters?

Hmm, the only place we have played the "Gnome Sex" game is Albury, what is it about that place (and should we take the "Gnome Sex" game up again)??

It's exactly the same size as Roads and Boats. Looks a lot like it too.

It's okay, I think we're resigned to driving up so we can lug it.
