Lists, Lists, Lists,.....

I thought my target of 100 different games in the year was good: (102 achieved)
2011: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/plays/thum ... 2011-12-31

Aaron Seeber did better (136 achieved)
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/plays/thum ... 2011-12-31

I'll tag mine with "New to Me" in 2011 and then set some new targets for 2012. Still working on the geek list which colours it up a bit.

I too wish to play Reef Encounter again... In fact, I'd like to play any game again at this stage. How do you find the time to, though?!

A few tips

1: Avoid serious relationships, particularly with non-gamers.
2: Avoid 'real' employment (sure the money is good but you won't have time to enjoy it).
3: Avoid active sports and hobbies such as bike riding, soccer, basketball etc. Too distracting and the events often clash.
4: Avoid organised religions of all sorts. They never make the proper allowances for gamers.
5: Avoid fellowship/mutual interest type groups like boy scouts, rotary, military reserves, clean up Australia, CFA etc. Do you want to be an amateur paramedic or do you want to play boardgames all the time?

Hey Lucky - Erin & I picked up Nuns on the Run in the maths trade. I'll let you know when it turns up.

Married, but husband enjoys boardgames as much as (or probably more than) I do.

Currently on leave...

Can't ride a bike, true story.

Isn't gaming a religion? Regular meets with like-minded individuals, donations for the upkeep of a venue, rules about acceptable noise levels to allow others the opportunity to reflect on their actions, active recruitment of new members...?

So... joining a group where the mutual interest is gaming is a no-no?

You only meet weird people at these "game groups".

Obviously it should have read non-game related interest groups. If they dpn't play games with little coloured blocks and matchsticks then avoid them like the proverbial.
