Announcing a Frankston, S Bayside, Peninsula Games Group

Postby Unhalfbricking » Mon Dec 10, 2012 12:57 am

Hi

15 years ago, I started Billabong Boardgamers.
8 or so years ago I started ConVic.

I reckon it's time I did it again. I have heard a few whispers from interested parties about having some form of organised gaming in the Mornington Peninsula area. With the distance to the city & other groups, there is a definite demographic need for this, so....

I am having a boardgames meeting on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month, at 7pm in my home in Frankston. I have an endless supply of the latest Euro games, as well as a lot of older classics. Once we have a regular attendance of enough (give or take a few), we can find a venue to use.

Being my home, I am not advertising the address. Please send me a message if you want to attend.

Dates:
20th Dec
3rd Jan
17th Jan

If you know anyone who is likely to be interested geographically as it were, please let them know.

Cheers
Julian

Nice initiative. Hope it works out well. Have you moved to Frankston recently?

Hi

Did this Frankston/Morn Peninsular group ever get going? I have just moved to Frankston and would be interested in a regular gaming night? Fingers crossed it's on?

Cheers

Julian (Unhalfbricking) is in Canberra at the moment for work, so I suspect it isn't happening at the moment (at least not at his house!)
Power tends to isolate those who hold too much of it. Eventually, they lose touch with reality... and fall.
