I have the first few sets of pokemon cards in a folder from my childhood. Base and jungle are complete, fossil is missing four cards and team rocket is missing three. They're in pretty good condition. Is there any value to them? Anyone interested?

I also have 800ish commons, uncommons and some rares. These have had a harder life but still very playable. Mostly from the mentioned sets.

Make an offer.

If you get no offers, let me know. I'd just be buying them for the day that my daughter is old enough to play... but I have no idea how much a fair price would be.

Here is a web site that has some kind of a pricing guide.

http://www.pojo.com/priceguide/prices.html

But i'm not a collector and it doesn't sound like you are either. So it's really just what they are worth to us.

With the collections in the folder and all the other cards it would be somewhere over 1000 cards.

How about 10 cents a card, so $100?

I'm in no rush, if next month fits the budget it may still be here. Or if a little price drop would work, we could discuss that too. :)
