Pimped up scooters are for wusses. Retro is the only way to go.

Gees, I remember we used to have one of those Vespa, looked just like that.
It was the family's mean of transport back then. We had my dad on the front seat, my mum at the back seat, my sister standing at the front, me sitting between my mum and dad, and my mum carrying my little brother.

FYI, the Vespa has gearing.

Besides, your logic is akin to saying that everyone should drive manual cars, not auto...maybe you do think that!
