BorderCon 2009

Post by Neil » Sun Feb 15, 2009 7:54 pm

Hi folks - I just want to begin promoting BorderCon for 2009.

This year we are looking to fill the void left by the AGE moving to Canberra in January.

We have booked the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend and the Hume Inn is again the Gaming Venue.

All details have been posted to the Geek (Under the Melbourne Forum Pages) -

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/381498

We hope you can join us for a big 2.5 days of gaming and catching up with friends.

Cheers,

Neil

Out of interest, how many did you get to last year's BorderCon? And of those, how many came from outside of the local area?

I went last year with a mate and Wency. From memory, there were over 20+ people at the con (probably way more at night).

But there was a large Melbourne crew there (Julian, Gregor, Vince, Ben, Anna, Ryan, Ken, Myself)...and probably several others too.

There was also some from Adelaide (Alvin, Ben, Brendan?).
