Hi All,

I posted info regarding the event on BGG but was asked to add it here.

Border Games Albury-Wodonga is running our Annual Con, BorderCon again in September.

The event will run from Friday the 19th (5:30pm) through to Sunday the 21st. The location is the Hume Inn, which has been used for the nightly social gaming during the Australian Games Expo the last couple of years. The venue comfortably accommodates 60-80 people and is serviced by a bar.

Myself and several gamers have made the trip to ConVic regularly over the past 2-3 years and we are hopeful that a few Melbournians can make the journey this year. I already know of 5-8 persons that have committed.

We are going for a relaxed social gaming atmosphere so please bring a box of your favourite titles. We will run a Dexterity Challenge Event over the weekend, with the winner getting to select a Charity of their choice. This charity will receive the total funds raised by the voluntary $5 entry fee. All people paying the entry fee are in the running for the lucky door prize, which will be a game donated by Mind Games of Albury.

Cheers,

Neil

PS - I'd like to add our club to the relevant section of the Forum Page but can't see a way to do it. Please let me know what I am missing.

I still have one spare seat, but not sure of the accommodation situation yet. Get in touch if you want a lift.
