Let me get this straight,
You are PMing someone to let them know they are the person you are referring to?

That's correct. The person who guesses the closest location, gets a PM from me.

This is a useful site gives you the distance between two cities:

Annawid - traveled 14.000 km (changed continent)
Dougp - traveled 1.200 km (same continent - EUROPE)
Jttm80 - traveled 5.200 km (changed continent)
Redturtle - traveled 11.149 km (changed continent)
Stompy - traveled 10.000 km (changed continent)
Talespinner - traveled 879 km (same continent - EUROPE)

I am willing to believe now that the person who got the first round message was either Dougp or Talespinner.

So I am going to assume our hidden personality is:

a. An american, but not a politician
b. An australian, but not a poet/author/jornalist

Now, if I you agree with me, Me, Dougp, or Talespinner got the message for round 2.

This means that the surname of our personality starts with N, A or J.

If dougp got the message, it is a man. If me or Talespinner, it it a woman.

Plus - if it is a man, his surname starts with J. If it is a woman, her surname starts with N or A.

Hey that all makes sense. Christian, can I change my guess for turn 3?

Annawid - American/American
Dougp - Australian/Australian
Jttm80 - American/Australian (didnt get Turn 1 message)
Redturtle - American/Irish (didnt get Turn 1 message)
Stompy - British/American (didnt get Turn 1 message)
Talespinner - American/American

This means that, in my opinion, only 3 possible candidates got round 1 message - Annawid, Dougp or Talespinner.

Now, Annawid traveled 14.000 km on round 2!!!

This evidence corroborates my previous assumption that either Talespinner or Dougp got the first round secret message.

Hey Fernando,
Great analysis of the situation.

One thing I am always cautious of though, is when the person making the analysis *doesn't* include themselves in their figures

Alright, I'm just curious to see how fast we can track this guy down.

So theoritically, if I got the secret PM in Turn 2, what does that mean?

Damn. Silly me.
I was under the impression that Kendo moved around.

Otherwise for the first few turns, his public announcements would be to the same person.

Stompy, as I said before, I think that it is OUR mission to get this guy... but the agent who does it gets the merits. So I will try to help the community but I want to make the arrest... you know what I mean? ;)

Supposing that everyone is playing this one correctly (including me), here is what it means if Talespinner got the "Secret Message" for round 2:

1- 100% sure it is a woman;

2- 100% sure that her surname starts with "A"

3- Looking at everybody else´s position in the globe, I think there is a 95% chance that the person is IN BERLIN OR TO THE RIGHT/BELLOW of it... but above Annawid´s position (otherwise, she would get the secret message)

4- As I have previously explained, I believe that you or Dougp got Round1 message. I would say there is a 70% chance of that.

4.1 - That means that the person is
a. An american, but not a politician
b. An australian, but not a poet/author/jornalist

Of course all of this will only be valid if Talespinner has gotten Turn 2 Secret Message.

Anf, of course, there is a 40% chance that I am completely oof the mark!!

Also, if we Knew who got The Secret Message for Turn 1 AND 2, we would REALLY be able to narrow the location of our target.

Basically, all you have to do is do some circles on the map to outline every player´s "unique influence arc". By crossing Turn´s 1 and 2, we can really narrow the area.

With 3 points, ans some luck, it is almost GPS... :)

The agent who captures the 'mystery person' will get a prize award of $1 million credits. The agents who do not capture him will get nothing but shame for their incopetence.

Then again, if no one captures him by the end of Turn 10, then all agents are fired and out of their jobs. Until a new game starts, at least.
