WEREWOLF VI - WEREWOLF AND SORCERER WIN, DAY 2

Post by christianmoura » Wed Jan 03, 2007 5:37 pm

Another 5-6 player Werewolf game, though we can accomodate for more.

The roles will be the same as the last game (allocated ramdomly), though if any of you Werewolf veterans want to suggest any changes, speak up. The roles are:

Werewolf: The game is over when The werewolf dies, or if only 1 werewolf and 1 other player remain.

Sorcerer: The Sorcerer is on the werewolf team and wins if the werewolf wins. The sorcerer looks like a villager to the seer. During the night, the sorcerer looks at one player, and the moderator tells them if that player is the SEER or not.

The werewolf and sorcerer do NOT know each others identity.

Seer: During the night, the seer looks at one player and the moderator tells them if that player is the Werewolf or not.

Hunter The hunter is a villager with the following ability: If at the end of the game, the only 2 remaining players are the hunter and the werewolf, then the hunter kills the werewolf and the village wins.

Villager(s) Have no special ability apart from the general daily Vote.

Notable things:
1. There will be no PMing each other. Everything you have to say will be open for everyone to see.
2. Roles are not revealed when someone is killed.
3. The game starts with a Night phase where the Werewolf does not kill, but the Sorceror and the Seer both get a viewing.
4. The player with the most number of votes gets lynched during the Day. In the case of a tie, there will be no lynching.

Alright. Maybe a change of strategy this game. Over-analysing and talking too much last game only served to get me killed.

Who am I trying to kid!? Prepare yourselves for lengthy analytical posts that make sense only to my deluded mind!!

DAY 1

Day 1 begins. Everything is fine and dandy in Happyville, until the gnarled remais of one Christian Moura are found village square, and big padded bloody footprints trailing into the forest. Street vendors immediately hike up the price of silverware, and the villagers gear up into a mad frenzy - it is lynching season, everyone's favourite part of the year.

Villagers have until Tuesday 10am to vote on the first lynching. Note tied votes in this game will mean there are no lynchings

After hearing what happened to the previous TaleSpinner some time back, I'd just like to announce that I'm now wearing a silver groin protector. See?

(shows off his groin protector)

Hi all,
I'm going to start things off by announcing that I'm a villager.

I also hope that over-strategising or simply being actively involved, doesn’t unnecessarily get anyone lynched. That could have an unfortunate effect of giving people a reason not to become involved.

I believe that there are valid reasons for staying quiet ie if you have a role you dont want discovered/protected, but someone who gets involved shouldn't automatically have a big target painted in their foreheads.
