Re: BGamers around South Yarra

Oi João,

Bem-vindo `a Melbourne.

This wednesday there is a big boardgames meeting at a pub called 'The Royal Standard' very close to the city. Look for details at meetup.com - or let me know if you need help. There should be around 80 people coming, and it is very friendly to newcomers.

Re: New to Melbourne - Looking for gaming goodness...

Hi Arlyansor,

This forum is by large geared towards boardgames, though once in a while RPGs get a mention.

Good luck finding a group. I suggest looking at the gaming groups in meetup.com as well, there are specific groups there for roleplaying.

Re: List of games to play

I should have replied yesterday - I can't come to Dockers this semester, at least, playing in an indoor soccer comp on Thursdays - started yesterday.

Can play on other days or other meetups if we plan ahead. What was played yesterday?

Re: List of games to play

If you organise in advance, I can come and play Rex, Fortune and Glory or Mansions of Madness.

Would like to play Republic of Rome, in the slim chance anyone would like to as well. Don't own it though.

Re: Eurogames at the Royal Standard

I've taught Android: Netrunner to half a dozen people so far, and everyone has liked it a great deal. We played 3 games at last EatRS, and had many more people ask me to teach them. At Cafe' Games this Saturday I was lucky to meet Daniel, a A:NR enthusiast who I had 4 games with, and we weren't the ...

EatRS is back for the new year, tomorrow, Wednesday. 70 people confirmed.

This is a great event, recommend it to anyone who has not been before.

Anyone interested in learning Band of Brothers: Screaming Eagles?

It is a rules light (for a wargame) tactical WW2 game, with several scenarios that take 1 or 2 hours to play.

Re: Some games for sale

Do you come to any of the gaming events in the city? Such as Dockers, Eurogames at the Royal Standard, Cafe Games?

If I could pick it up in the CBD or at one of these events, I would take the lot.
