Re: Happy New Year for 2014

We should play more games in 2014 - I had a quiet last 6 months.

Re: Kickstarter: Coup

Hi Stompy,

So this means we are still waiting on the game itself, Coup?

Thanks

Re: Good 4 Player games

I should also recommend, departing from the usual euro-fare, Battlestar Galactica - I'm pretty sure almost everyone in this forum appreciates how good the game is. When it came out we probably played every week for months. Other non-euro games that my gaming groups really like (and that work with 4...

Re: Good 4 Player games

Without knowing too much about you, I'd say Settlers of Catan. If you want to hear what I like, my favourite is Angola - an excellent 4 player wargame about the Angolan civil war. Takes about 8-10h to play though. Recently I have enjoyed Duel of Ages II immensely as well. It is great with 4-6 people.

Re: Alternative venue needed

I ask about Good Games, as to me it is a more accessible location - in the CBD and closer to trams and trains. It would also be a bigger draw for me if a CBD location meant a more diverse crowd were attending (Good Game regulars for example), or simply more people. It would encourage me to attend 'D...

Hi Stompy,

When do you need payment for this? Let me know how much I owe you, and how you want the money (paypal, bank transfer, cash...)

Re: Alternative venue needed

I know there is one other informal boardgame group that meets once a month at The Royal Standard, about 10-15 people; and the owner is fine with it - so it might be worth a try check it out as a alternate venue.
