Re: Maths trade is up an running 2010/2011

I have a bunch of games I was hoping to trade out, with the intent of swapping with someone locally to save shipping, however this has come up and it looks like fun. Does anyone know how much it would roughly cost to ship well games like Battlestar, Stone Age and similar shaped/weighted games? How d...

Re: milsims overstock sale - copied from the website.

So horribly tempting! I spent 2 hours last night looking up games on BGG then talking myself out of them. It went kind of like this the entire time: "My wife...might like to play Through The Ages...she said she likes history" "Who am I kidding...she never likes any of the games I have bought" "But m...

Re: Print and Play Cards Question

That does look cool. This is US based though right? With the cost of shipping I may be better off just buying his versions from him. This does look like a great way to make some more Dixit cards which are quite steep as is...interesting! I wonder if there is a melbourne company doing something like ...

Print and Play Cards Question

I mentioned a game in a previous thread called Puzzle Strike, which I have since ordered. The same designer is offering print and play versions of his two other games, so I thought I would ask if anyone knew a good place to get something like this done or has any tips on how one can make a good card...

Puzzle Strike - Tips to reduce shipping costs from US?

Not sure if this is the correct section to put this question but there is an independent game I am pretty keen on called Puzzle Strike, but the shipping for the regular version is $51 US. That is pretty pricey. Has anyone used services like http://www.shipito.com/ or anything similar to try and get ...

I should probably mention that I have managed to arrange a copy of the game, thanks to everyone contributed to the discussion.

Re: WTB Gang of Four (Communist China Edition)

I have heard similar stories of $10 packets a few years ago. There are so many good games out there, it doesn't surprise me that some fall through the cracks. We are getting plenty of run from Tichu during lunches, thought today we did a session of Dixit. Tichu had so much hype around it and I find ...

Re: WTB Gang of Four (Communist China Edition)

I think that is the one. It is hard to figure out from BGG but I know the one we play with at game night has a fist and it has the fist on it. Internally the cards look kind of like this: http://images.boardgamegeek.com/images/pic120123_md.jpg Whereas the one I am less of a fan off looks like this: ...

WTB Gang of Four (Communist China Edition)

Hey All, I have been playing a couple of card games of late and found myself absolutely enchanted by Gang of Four. The catch is I am not particularly a fan of the new theme which looks very generic. There is something about the art and theme of the original that actually adds to the game for me. So ...

Re: Pinnacle Games

I believe that the part shipping is kind of like saying "I have ordered $150 but half of them aren't coming in for a couple of months, so if you guys could part ship me my order that would be sweet". Then instead of a possible two lots of $15, they'll charge you the once, and ship you two lots. That...

Re: Long time sporadic gamer, first time poster.

At last....back in town......... looking forward to meeting y'all. Still unpacking, trying to find space for the games !!! Sweet. Thankfully my collection is so small that the prospect of packing it and unpacking it is less than daunting. Of course that also means I don't have a cool game collectio...
