NSEG dates for 2014

As previously our meetings this year will all be on the first and the third Sunday of each week.

Except (possibly) April 20th (Easter Sunday) where we may meet at Conquest, or possibly Bar Nancy, or conceivably not at all - will be announced soon!

I checked out the new premises this evening and I was impressed. While I think 200 gamers would be very optimistic (unless they have some more rooms I wasn't privy to) it is certainly spacious. That's great. The venue can handle quite a few players - as well as the main tournament hall (which some may remember from an event there a couple of years ago) there are 2 other smaller rooms which aren't normally used by the chess players.

The main thing to watch out for with the library/hub is that they don't oblige us to incorporate and get insurance for the privilege of using public space.

To use meet-up, it helps to be chummy with one of the group organisers (essentially subscribers who pay a small fee) to 'parent' you (this is what NSEG does).
