Gaming at Games Laboratory?

I was boardgaming with some friends at Games Laboratory last weekend, and I noticed a few familiar faces from this community gaming there as well.

Is there a regular group happening at Games Laboratory?

Re: Easter Saturday 30th March 2013 - International TableTop Day

I haven't been to a Billabong Boardgamers gathering before (and generally not too active with other groups as well). But I am keen to turn up for this!

Will there be any session going on this Sunday?

Just a quick question whether there'll be a Northern Suburbs Eurogamers session this Sunday (22 April 2012)? It appears on the calendar, but there aren't details on this forum page.

Thanks!

Re: Northern suburbs games

I'm in the north as well, though quite a bit further west than you (I live in Glenroy). Even so, I'm interested in some gaming on a casual basis. I've got some games, though the bulk of my collection isn't here with me. Off the top of my head, I've got Game of Thrones, Samurai (Reiner Knizia's), Ili...

Re: ConVic details.

Hello! It's been a long time since I last visited the forum. I didn't even know that ConVic was going on till I chatted with some gamers last night. The link above does seem to be working. Could I find out more details of it? I've got the address, but not much more beyond that. I know it's on this o...

I remember playing Werewolf on BGG before. It's a very fun, albeit intense experience. I stood by my computer religiously waiting for updates.

I think playing BSG was the intent. I'm not familiar with Kensington, having only been to Shawn's house before for gaming. I live in the west so his place is easier to get to, so that would be my preference. My place is also available; I live in Tarneit so I'm not sure how many would want to make th...

I'm keen to play again on Boxing Day. I sorely regret skipping the second game last night, and am eager to play again.

Also, the wife is going out shopping with friends. So I'll have a heap of spare time.

I don't understand the vehemence against stopping kids from viewing porn sites. Are you saying we shouldn't try at all? The vehemence comes from the the problem that it'll be expensive to implement, expensive to maintain, does little of what it's supposed to be and therefore has very little of its ...

It would most certainly affect us adults. From what I understand, there are two levels to the restrictions... one for illegal content, and one for 'undesirable' content. One problem is that hasn't been a strict definition on what the 'undesirable' may be... It's whatever the one in-charge decides it...
